SAFETY
The
investigations described here have been developed by teachers with experience
in schools and colleges worldwide.
The techniques, equipment and chemicals
used are, as far as possible, simple and present few hazards.
Where hazards
exist they are minimal, are clearly identified and the precautions for safe
working are indicated.
Students and teachers should:

follow good laboratory practices.
- complete their own risk assessments.
Students should work under adequate supervision.
