'Device:'
The name of every device switched on within range will be shown
and one can be selected.
'Logging Interval:'
Before connecting to a colorimeter select the time interval between readings for continuous datalogging, 1, 5,
30 seconds, 2 or 30 minutes. The default setting is 1 second.
'Connect'
Tapping connect will connect the chosen colorimeter and the tag will switch to
'Disconnect'
.
'Set Name'
Lets the user set the device name to anything between 4 and 10 characters. This name can then be written on the front label.
Once a colorimeter has been connected its name can be changed by anyone in posession of the password supplied with each unit.
The colorimeters are preset with their serial number as the default password.
The level of security is not high; the
purpose of the password is just to prevent unauthorised alterations being made to the name.
